PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a police or security company to easily chase and discover a robbed article by always specifying the located position of the article even when the article is robbed by incorporating a radio transmission part in a hanger part, to which the article is attached, and activating the radio transmission part when the article is brought away. SOLUTION: When a robber tries to steal a fur, for example, since the fur is integrated with an article display device 1 provided with a hanger part 11 by a cover, the robber carries away the article display device 1 together with the fur as well. When the article display device 1 is detached from a bar or the like, an activating switch 13 of a hook part 12 is activated and 'PHS(R)' terminal equipment 14 electrically connected to the activating switch 13 is activated. Then, radio waves transmitted from the 'PHS' terminal equipment 14 are received by a nearby 'PHS(R)' base station and the article display device 1, namely, the position of the robbed article is specified. Therefore, even when the article is robbed, the located position of the article can be always specified and the robbed article can be easily chased and discovered.
