PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pack for a drainage base plate capable of reducing execution processes and improving workability and useful for planting, or the like, by wrapping a drainage base material having functions such as water permeability, air permeability and water holding property with a specific nonwoven fabric. SOLUTION: This pack for a drainage base is formed by wrapping a drainage base material 11 mixed with perlite, pumice stone or broken igneous rock, or either/or all of the perlite, pumice stone and broken igneous rock having functions such as water permeability, air permeability and water holding property with a nonwoven fabric 12 in which synthetic resin fibers are arranged in a perfect network. Preferably, planting is executed by forming the ground using the pack 1 for the drainage base and by providing root bowls of plants.
