PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermo-sensitive electric circuit breaking component that can simplify a manufacturing process and is strong against external force or the like. SOLUTION: This component is provided with a pair of lead plates 1, a frame-like insulating plate 2 to support both the lead conductors separating them at a predetermined distance, and a fusible alloy piece 3 to connect both the lead plates 1 with each other. The frame-like insulating plate 2 presents a generally frame-like form having a thickness larger than that of the lead plates 1, both the lead plates 1 penetrate the circumferential walls of the frame- like insulating plate 2 and are projected into the frame-like insulating plate 2, the parts projected into the frame-like insulating plate 2 of the lead plates 1 are connected with each other through the fusible alloy piece 3, and the upper and lower openings of the frame-like insulating plate 2 are covered with insulating sheets 4.
