Applying a covering layer to a stent is done by forming a tube of predetermined length with an elastomeric polymerisable composition, and coating the inside of the tube with an adhesive medium. The stent is then radially contracted, inserted into the tube, and allowed to radially expand in the tube. The adhesive medium is then allowed to cure. |
