PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability by enhancing rigidity, and provide miniaturization and compactification, in a bearing unit for a driving wheel having an outer joint member of a constant velocity universal joint, a hub ring and an axle bearing unitized. SOLUTION: In this bearing unit, a hub ring 10, an outer joint member 20 of a constant velocity universal joint, and an axle bearing 30 are unitized, and at least one 33b of double row inner races 33a and 33b of the axle bearing 30 is formed on the outer joint member 20. In such a case, the outer joint member 20 includes a mouse part 28 and shaft part 29, the shaft part 29 and the hub ring 10 are coupled by fitting and serration, and fitting parts 17b and 29b are positioned between a double row of rolling bodies 34a and 34b. |
