PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a substitute system of forming an image to be operated as an exposure master of a printing plate or printed circuit board precursor free from wet treating stage by incorporating a receiving layer having at least one type of Ncontaining polymer as a transparent support and a binder in a receiving element. SOLUTION: A binding material of a receiving layer is an N-containing polymer. The most preferable binding material is a gelatin. The gelatin forms a transparent coating, can be easily crosslinked by a controllable method, has high absorbency regarding a liquid ink based on water, and thereby can give quick dryability. The receiving layer contains a filler, a pigment, a fluorescent whitening material and a porous particulate material. Further, the layer contains a mordant. A color material of an ink composition to be injected is strongly fixed to improve water resistant fastness of the composition of the finished image. The mordant is normally a (co)polymer containing a quaternary ammonium group, phosphonium and guadinium group. |
