PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a noble removing agent capable of efficiently and at low cost decomposing oxidatively and removing dioxins incorporated in a gas discharged from an incinerator, or the like, even at a low temp. zone. SOLUTION: The dioxins removing agent includes β-MnO2. Here, the specific surface area of the β-MnO2 is >=100 m2, moreover, at least one kind salt and/or oxide selected from the group consisting of elements of group IV-A, group V-A, group VI-A, iron group and group I-B are incorporated. |
