PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert an annular image obtained by a panoramic image block into an expanded image which is easy to visually judge. SOLUTION: Of this device, the panoramic image block 5 is a rotary body made of a transparent raw material having a center lightproof surface 1 and a center translucent surface 2 which face each other, a circumferential translucent surface 3 which is formed around the center lightproof surface 1, and a circumferential lightproof surface 4 which is formed around the center translucent surface 2, the circumferential lightproof surface 4 is formed into a reflecting mirror capable of gathering incident light from the circumferential translucent surface 3 to the center lightproof surface 1 through the inside of the rotary body, and the center lightproof surface 1 is formed into a reflecting mirror which collects reflected light from the circumferential lightproof surface 3 to the center translucent surface 2 through the inside of the rotary body. This device is equipped with the panoramic image block 5, an image input means 7 which forms the annular image 6 by receiving the projection light from the center translucent surface 2 of the panoramic image block 5, and an image converting means 10 which forms a rectangular expanded image 8 by expanding the width of the part, close to the center, of the annular image 6 and outputs it to a display means 9. |
