PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing controller capable of printing variable data at high speed even in the case of printing out a multi-valued full color document. SOLUTION: The printer controller interprets printing instruction data received from a client device, generates a fixed image common to plural pages and variable images 105 different in each page and synthesizes each variable image 105 and the fixed image 100 to generate the page image 110 of each page. Each page image 110 is divided into plural strips 150, a variable strip group 125 including the variable image and a fixed strip group 120 including images other than the variable images are mutually separated and stored in a memory. The variable strip groups 12b are stored in each page and only one fixed strip group 120 is stored in common to all pages. Data in the variable strip group stored in each page and the fixed strip group are resynthesized to form each page image 130, which is outputted to a printer. |
