PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold synthetic material mainly containing tourmaline to thereby form the structure of an intake activating device which is arranged in an intake passage to an engine for more exhaust purification. SOLUTION: Synthetic material formed by synthesizing fine powder of tourmaline having a weight 25%-50% the weight of an intake activating device with plastic, rubber or fibers is molded on an outer cylinder for the activating device and on a plate rib 3 placed thereon in a grating form for forming the intake activating device in a structure of fitting the rib to the outer cylinder to join it an intake duct between an air cleaner mounted in an intake passage to an engine and an intake manifold.
