PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the user to easily recognize a kind of images displayed in a thumbnail display form or the like, on a device that handles moving and still images. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a display control means 30, that display an images on a display device in a prescribed display form, setting means 20, 40 that set at least one screen or more from among a plurality of frames of image patterns configuring a dynamic image displayed by the display control means 30 as a representative image pattern to represent the dynamic image, and an additional means 35 that adds information for recognition of the representative image pattern to be one image pattern from among a plurality of the frame image patterns, configuring the dynamic image to the representative image pattern set by the setting means and allows the display device to the added information, together with the representative image pattern.
