PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for manufacturing, continuously and with high productivity, a recessed and projected thermoplastic resin foamed body having superior compression performance and cushioning properties. SOLUTION: Foaming thermoplastic resin sheet-shaped bodies 1, in which foamed thermoplastic resin grains are disposed almost uniformly on a plate and respective foaming thermoplastic resin grains are interconnected one another integrally through foaming agent containing foamed plastic films and also the grains can be composed of two kinds of different thermoplastic resins, are fed between a pair of endless carrying belts 21 and 22 in a manufacturing method. Then the sheet is heated at the decomposition temperature of a foaming agent or higher and foamed. The foamed and expanded thermoplastic resin sheet-shaped bodies are cooled by cooling devices 28 provided at the intervals larger than the intervals of filling the sheet-shaped bodies completely. |
