PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the user-friendliness of the display device by storing in advance panel data of an operation panel, displaying a teletext image and the operation panel in a way that they are connected in a vertical direction of a display screen and scrolling the image of the operation panel in the vertical direction for a prescribed period in prescribed timing so as to display header information between the teletext image and the image of the operation panel. SOLUTION: A program information display area 41 and a teletext program display section 42 are provided to the right of a teletext program menu 40 in a horizontal direction, and a 1st television video display area 43 is provided to the left in the horizontal direction. In the teletext program display section 42, a 1st main text display area 44 of a prescribed size in response to a character reference size, a 1st header text display area 45 of a prescribed size in response to a header reference size and a 1st panel 47 consisting of a plurality of operation buttons 46A-46H are displayed in the vertical direction in a way that they are displayed in connection sequentially. In the case that the operation button 46A for display changeover on the teletext program menu 40 is selected and designated, the teletext program display section 42 is displayed at a prescribed position in the horizontal direction through magnification.
