PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-voltage load switch which can prevent the careless connection/disconnection of a connection cable to/from the switch when the switch is 'ON'. SOLUTION: A high-voltage load switch 11 which is connected to a load through a cable, housed in an enclosure 1, and turned on/off by means of an operating handle is provided with a protective plate 4 put on the front face of a cable connecting section 3 and a locking means 6 which locks the plate 4 in an interlocking way with the turning on/off of the switch 11 so that the front face of the connecting section 3 may be closed when the plate 4 is locked by means of the locking means 6 and may be opened when the plate 4 is not locked. |
