PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for sterilizing a medical appliances which can irradiate a sufficient quantity of sterilizing electron beams even on a part which the electron beams cannot permeate by the one-side irradiation on an object to be irradiated in a complicated form such as a combination of cylinders with a high density, and which can irradiate electron beams almost evenly with little unevenness in the distribution of electron beams. SOLUTION: In this method of sterilization of a medical appliances by irradiating electron beams, an object 3 to be irradiated with the product of the density and the thickness being at least 3 (g/cm2) is rotated with the rotation being registered, and electron beams E are irradiated to the object 3 in at least 3 directions when the rotation of the object 3 is stopped, or while the object 3 is continuously rotated. |
