PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diet controlling method of alimentotherapy capable of simply and readily carrying out own diet control, cards for food exchange therefor and a card group for control of directed units comprising combination thereof. SOLUTION: Cards 1 for food exchange related to food groups classified into food exchange tables are prepared and food names classified by the corresponding food group and standard amounts corresponding to unit numbers defined per card are shown, and a card group 2 for direction unit control obtained by selecting and combining proper cards in accordance with unit numbers in which daily direction units of a target person are optimally arranged to each food group is collectively held, and cards matched with unit numbers of a food group taken every meal are held or removed by required numbers and daily diet control matched with diet direction of daily direction unit is carried out by using the card group.
