PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image with high quality by correcting a defect of a display state such as picture distortion at a low cost. SOLUTION: A correction data generator 1 generates correction data to correct a display state of an image based on the image displayed on a screen of a CRT 10a, and an image display device 10 conducts calculation to correct the image data so as to properly display the image based on the correction data and outputs the image data after the correction to the CRT 10a.
