PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device in which wasteful toner consumption and a recovering toner capacity are prevented from being uselessly increased by executing a toner-end detection after detecting a toner near-end. SOLUTION: A magnetic sensor 7 is provided on the lower side of the storing part of the toner 2 of a cartridge 1. A reflection type photosensor 8 is provided at a position which is in the rotating direction of a photoreceptor 3 and right on the downstream side of a developing roller 4 and at which the surface of the photoreceptor 3 faces outside. A toner-end detection pattern is formed on the photoreceptor 3 after detecting the toner near-end by the magnetic sensor 7, and the toner-end is detected by detecting the density of a pattern by light from the photosensor 8. |
