PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wheelchair in which a right and a left wheel electric units can be common, and the wheel electric unit. SOLUTION: This wheelchair is composed of wheel electric units installed on the right and the left of a car body frame. This wheel electric unit has a fixed plate 30 fixed on the car body frame, a rotary wheel rotatably installed on the fixed plate 30, and an electric motor 41 to drive rotation of the rotary wheel. The fixed plate 30 has a main installation part 50 to be installed on the car body frame, and detent installation parts 51, 52 provided to stop rotation of the fixed plate 30 installed on the car body frame to the car body frame. When a supposed line X-X passing a rotation center axis 37 of the rotary wheel in a horizontal direction is prescribed, the main installation part 50 is provided on the supposed line, or at a vertically symmetric position to the supposed line, and the detent installation parts 51, 52 are provided on the supposed line or at vertically symmetric positions to the supposed line. |
