PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiotelephone repeater where a connection hit rate is enhanced by avoiding a connection failure due to a busy radio channel of a radiotelephone base station. SOLUTION: In the case of receiving a link channel assignment reject message denoting a connection reject from a radiotelephone base station CS 301, the radiotelephone repeater RP 201 decides whether or not to try reconnection depending on the reasons of the assignment reject, selects other radiotelephone base station than the rejected radiotelephone base station and transmits a link channel setup request SQ 6 to the selected radiotelephone base station CS 302. Furthermore, the radiotelephone repeater RP 201 sorts radio waves received from the radiotelephone base stations in the order of levels, and selects a radiotelephone base station whose order number is equivalent to a random number generated in the radiotelephone repeater RP 201 so as to distribute the load of traffic. Furthermore, the radiotelephone repeater RP 201 collects traffic data such as a call loss rate or link channel setup request reception number of times and a call connection hit number of times from the radiotelephone base stations, decides whether or not any radiotelephone base station has a low call loss rate, selects the radiotelephone base station when its call loss rate is lower than a prescribed condition so as to select a radiotelephone base station with low traffic. |
