PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element of excellent transmission efficiency and hardly being affected by a data omission due to a dead band. SOLUTION: The optical element 10 is constituted by providing an inputting optical member 11 arranging plural optical fibers parallel to each other to be integrally molded and filling up light absorbing material 15 into gaps between respective optical fibers 14 and an outputting optical member 12. The inputting optical member 11 is provided with an incident surface 11a obliquely cut at an angle of nearly 22 deg. for an optical axis and an emission surface obliquely cut at the angle of 49.7 deg., and the incident surface 11a is cut so as to become a parallelogram that a set of the opposite angles are respectively nearly 62 deg. (acute angle), and another set of the opposite angles are respectively nearly 118 deg. (obtuse angle). The outputting optical member 12 is provided with the incident surface obliquely cut at the angle of 14.7 deg. for the optical axis and the emission surface 12b vertically cut.
