REMOVAL OF BORON TRIFLUORIDE USING BARIUM FLUORIDE AND ITS RECOVERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly efficiently remove boron trifluoride from fluid containing boron trifluoride or from a complex and to enable it to be recycled by a means economical and free from the generation of environmental pollution. SOLUTION: In the method for removing boron trifluoride, the fluid containing boron trifluoride or the complex is brought into contact with barium fluoride at <=250 deg.C. Boron trifluoride and barium fluoride are recovered by heating barium tetrafluoro borate produced by this method at 100-600 deg.C.
