PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the coating of a light receptive body using a dispersed material of a coating material. SOLUTION: In this method, a coating composition having a prescribed value of liquid yield stress is prepared, the composition is allowed to flow along a field channel 32, is introduced into a long and narrow manifold 34, is allowed to flow along a 1st channel 48 gradually made narrower, is allowed to flow out to the outside of the manifold 32 and allowed to flow into an extruding passage 36. The coating is formed by preparing the coating composition into a thin ribbon like stream in the extruding passage 36 and depositing the stream on a base material. At this time, shearing stress larger than the yield shearing stress value of the coating composition is continuously impressed to the composition while the composition is passed through the 1st channel 48 gradually made narrower and the extruding passage 36 to be flowed.
