PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily and exactly set a sheet even when performing bed making alone by attachably and detachably holding a plate-shaped member, which can be inserted between the top end part of a mattress and a head board, having a length corresponding to the width of the mattress at the front end part of the sheet. SOLUTION: When setting a sheet 10 over a mattress 5, first of all, a plate- shaped member 20 held in a bag part 15 formed at a front end part 11 of the sheet 10 is inserted between the front end part of the mattress 5 and the head board and the front end part 11 of the sheet 10 is fixed for the equal length on left and right sides. Next, a rear end part 12 of the sheet 10 is turned over and a skirt 12a of this part is put in on the downside of the rear end part 7 of the mattress 5. Continuously, both left and right side parts 13 of the sheet 10 are similarly put in on the downside of a side end 7s of the mattress 5. Thus, even when performing bed making alone, the sheet 10 can be speedily and exactly set over the mattress 5 without being creased.
