PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a facsimile machine which can confirm whether or not transmission range as intended is sent. SOLUTION: This facsimile machine capable of partially specified transmission is equipped with a print body 1, which gives a stamp on a document and a transmission range, is specified at an operation display part 12 in the vertical scanning direction of the document; and a system control part 3 finds a transmission line area according to specified transmission range information and a stamp driving part 2 energizes the print body 1 to gives a belt-like stamp from the head to the tail position of the transmission range on the document, corresponding to the transmission line area on one side of the document.
