PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system where wideband code division multiple access(WCDMA) communication adopts extra path diversity possible for an open loop system. SOLUTION: An input circuit of a mobile communication system receives a plurality of 1st signals rj(i+τj) (i=0-N-1) from an external signal source for a 1st time interval (T0-T1), receives a plurality of 2nd signals rj(i+τj) (i=N-2N-1) from the external signal source for a 2nd time interval (T1-T2), and receives a plurality of the 1st and 2nd signals through 1st and 2nd paths (j), respectively, to generate a 1st input signal 612 and a 2nd input signal 614 from a plurality of the 1st and 2nd signals. A correction circuit receives a 1st estimate signal 302, a 2nd estimate signal 306 and the 1st and 2nd input signals and generates a 1st symbol estimate value and a 2nd symbol estimate value in response to the 1st and 2nd estimate signals and the 1st and 2nd input signals. |
