PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems, such as troublesome insertion/withdrawal of an earphone cord and restriction of a length of the cord by integrating a transmitter to a television receiver main body, integrating a receiver to the remote commander and allowing the remote commander to receive an audio signal from the television receiver main body so as to activate an earphone or the like. SOLUTION: A transmitter is integrated to a television receiver main body, and a receiver is integrated to a remote control. The remote control receives an audio signal from the television receiver main body to activate an earphone or the like. That is, the television receiver main body incorporates the transmitter, the remote control incorporates the receiver, and a reception antenna 2 of the remote control receives a television audio signal from a transmission antenna 1 to sound an earphone 3 connected with the remote control. Through this configuration, since the remote control is placed at all times within a reach of the user, it is not required for the user to go to and return from the main body for the purpose of inserting/withdrawing the earphone to/from the main body at the start and end of use of the earphone. Furthermore, a speaker is connected with the remote commander in place of the earphone or a video signal other than an audio signal can be received by applying this remote control to displaying the video signal.
