PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor of an electronic apparatus wherein con sumption power is little, durability is excellent and stable start up and high speed rotation are enabled. SOLUTION: In an electronic apparatus having a stepping motor, this stepping motor is a stepping motor having a two-pole flat stator. A driving pulse of the stepping motor comprises a starting pulse composed of a combinational pulse C and a initiate pulse E and a following drive pulse H. The stepping motor is rotated at a high speed by the drive pulse H in synchronism with the time when a counter-electromotive force developed in a counter-electromotive force detecting coil 306 crosses the zero level. |
