摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a measuring apparatus by which the radius of curvature in an actual usage state as the shape evaluation index of an optical lens face can be measured with high precision by installing a displacement detecting member or the like which detects the distance between a spatial coordinate position as a measuring reference and a face to be measured, on an object to be measured, which is held in a given posture. SOLUTION: Displacement detecting members 1, 10, 11 are adjusted so as to be attached to a displacement-detecting-member holding metal fitting 100 in such a way that their measuring direction is directed to the spherical center C of a face 2a to be measured, on an object 2 to be measured. The displacement-detecting members 1, 10, 11 detect the distance between a spatial coordinate position as a measuring reference and the face 2a, to be measured, on the object 2, to be measured, which is held in a given posture. On the basis of the value of the distance between the spatial coordinate position and the face 2a to be measured, a computing means computes a shape evaluation index as a required quality for the face 2a to be measured. Then, an interval value is detected in the number of positions required for realizing a measuring precision which guarantees the required quality. Thereby, the radius of curvature of an optical lens face can be measured with high accuracy irrespective of whether the optical lens face is directed upward or downward with respect to the direction of gravity (g).
