CUTTER STRUCTURE OF MULTI-CONNECTION SHIELD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate need for providing a rotation synchronization device, and simplify a device to realize stable excavation by mutually overlapping a plurality of cutter rotation radius and providing them to be inclined horizontally in the direction of excavation. SOLUTION: A middle cutter 4 out of the cutters provided vertically continuously on a bulk head 3 is made a recess-like cutter 11, and the cutter spokes 6 are arranged in the form of a funnel to be inclined frontward in the direction of excavation by centering a drive shaft 5. The drive shaft 5 has the equivalent length as the recess-like cutter 11 and a projection-like cutter 12 providing a few cutter spokes 6 in the form of an umbrella to be inclined rearward in the direction of the excavation by centering the drive shaft 5 upward and downward of the middle cutter 4. The cutting face 18 of the projection-like cutter 12 is tilted so as to be substantially parallel with the rear face 19 of the cutter spoke 6 of the recess-like cutter 11. Since the cutter spoke 6 of the adjacent cutter 4 does not interfere mutually, the need of synchronization rotation is eliminated, the simplification of a device and the stability of the excavation are contrived.
