PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the traffic of a network circuit in a controller for realizing a large-scaled network by connecting programmable logic controllers A1, B1, and C1 with which each kind of equipment to be controlled and sensor is connected, with a host computer through display devices A2, B2, and C2 with relatively high arithmetic processing capability and high data communication propriety, and operating protocol conversion by the display devices A2, B2, and C2. SOLUTION: Each display device A2, B2, and C2 is provided with a data distributing means 31, and data are spontaneously distributed in the generation timing of a prescribed phenomenon such as the rising of a prescribed sensor output or alarm generation or in a prescribed time or prescribed cycle. Thus, any transmission request due to polling can be prevented, and traffic can be reduced at the time of realizing large-scaled network.
