PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain high transfer properties of a pattern even when mold temp., injection pressure and dwelling pressure are ordinary values in injection molding or injection compression of a resin involving a transfer of a fine pattern using a stamper. SOLUTION: In a composite stamper, a pattern to be transferred on a molded article is formed on the surface of a resin heat insulating layer 1 with a heat conductivity and a thickness of respectively at most 0.002 cal/cm.sec. deg.C and 100-1,000μm and a metal with a thickness of at least 0.1 mm is integrally provided as a backing layer 2 of the resin heat insulating layer 1. In addition, it is constituted of a resin surface layer with a scratch resistance of pencil hardness of at least H and a resin inner layer with a scratch resistance of pencil hardness lower than H.
