<p>An amorphous oxides film composed essentially of an oxide containing at least one member selected from the group consisting of Zr, Ti, Hf, Sn, Ta and In and at least one member selected from the group consisting of B and Si. When coated on a substrate the film is transparent and has good durability to wear as would be experienced by, e.g., a window. Unlike known films, the present film is durable without interfering with the optical properties of the substrate.</p> |
