PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling capability by structuring the rows of through holes in the forward direction of a conductor and by shunting a ventilation path into rows in the forward direction of the conductor in order to form the ventilation path that continues in the circumferential direction while deviating in the shaft direction of a rotor core. SOLUTION: Cooling gas ventilation paths 20 in which a cooling gas is caused to flow in the shaft direction of a rotor core 3 while flowing in its circumferential direction are formed in winding conductors 15. Through holes 21 made up of two rows of oval through holes 21a, 21b are drilled in the plate conductors 16 except the bottommost one and interphase insulators in the longitudinal direction of the plate conductors in two rows in their width direction. The plate conductors 16 and interphase insulators continue in the circumferential direction of the rotor core 3 while shifting in its shaft direction. This structure increases the cooling area of the cooling gas, thereby making it possible to increase cooling capability.
