PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely lock an operation lever by increasing the manipulated variable of an operating physical force transmitting medium for the rotational angle of the operation lever and utilizing the reaction of a wire. SOLUTION: This operation lever device for sliding a wire 2 by the rotation of an operation lever 1 is provided with a rotor 3 to which the wire 2 is connected and a torque transmission mechanism 4 for transmitting the rotation of the lever 1 to the rotor 3. On the rotational plane of the rotor 3, a distance from the rotational center O1 of the rotor 3 up to the connection end O2 of the wire 2 is made longer than a distance from the rotational center O1 of the rotor 3 up to an input position P to which the rotation of the rotor 3 is transmitted by the mechanism 4.
