PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the easy joining of a handle to be divided at the time of use with one operation, is free from the danger of the disengagement of a joint part during use and to prevent the rotation of the handle in the hands during use. SOLUTION: The cleaning implement formed by joining the handle 100 for gripping made of plastic and the handle 200 mounted with a cleaning member is provided with an insertion projecting part 110 at the front end on the joint side of the handle for gripping and the front end of this insertion projecting part 110 is upwardly provided with a difference 11 in level. The cleaning implement is provided with a U-shaped fitting part 120 provided with fitting pawls 121 of a right-angled triangle shape in cross section on the outer side so as to face both front ends. The front end on the joint side of the handle mounted with the cleaning member is provided with an insertion hole 210 to be inserted with the insertion projecting part and is upwardly provided with the difference 11 in level deep in this insertion hole, by which the implement is provided with an fitting hole 220 to be inserted with the fitting part. A wedge-like projection 230 is pendently disposed from the inside of a top part to the central position on the deep side of the insertion hole.
