PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount rectangular optical fiber mouth pieces on a cylindrical connector main body with good seal durability in an optical fiber connector system. SOLUTION: This system is provided with cylindrical connector main bodies 82 and 163 and cylindrical optical fiber contacts 1 and 30 housed in a connector main body on which rectangular optical fiber mouth pieces are mounted. The cylindrical optical fiber contacts are held by the connector main bodies 82 and 163 by cylindrical holding and inserting members 68 and 165, and at least one seal member 94 and 97 is arranged between the holding and inserting members and the cylindrical connector main bodies.
