PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unlock the locking state of a top plate without bending forward. SOLUTION: This table is provided with supporting legs 44 and 46, the top plate 10 rotatably assembled to the legs 44 and 46 within the range of a using position forming a nearly horizontal state and a folding position forming a standing state, a locking mechanism provided between the legs 44, 46 and the top plate 10 to automatically lock and hold at the respective positions of the using position and the folding position, a stepping pedal 23 provided in the neighborhood of the floor surface of the legs 44 and 46 to unlock the locking state of the lock mechanism, and transmitting mechanisms 21, 24 and 25 for transmitting the movement of the pedal 23 to the locking mechanism.
