WALL-MOUNTED UNIT INCLUDING SWIVEL INTEGRATED FRONT AND BACK HOUSINGS

A wall-mounted unit for a lighting control motion switch, incorporating a swivel arrangement which is adapted to optimally adjust the relative positions between front and back housing portions of the unit to enable sensing or scanning patterns of the unit to effectively detect any motion encountered within a specified spatial sector. More particularly, there is disclosed a wall-mounted unit of the type described wherein the front and back housing portions are adapted to be mounted relative to each other so as to enable the front housing portion containing the operative components of the lighting control motion switch to be either vertically and/or horizontally about a pivot arrangement to facilitate attaining the desired adjustment of the sensing pattern of the unit within a spatial sector. A swivel joint including a swivel ball structure is incorporated into the back housing portion. A swivel socket is adapted to engagingly cooperate with the swivel ball, and is incorporated into the structure of a front housing portion which extends over the front and side walls of the back housing portion of the unit.
