摘要 PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device with a high opening ratio and a high transmitting ratio is provided to increase a yield as reducing time for a manufacturing process, by decreasing the number of processing photo lithography, and by forming a lower substrate structure with 5 photo lithography processes. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device comprises the steps of: forming a predetermined-sized optical intercepting pattern(12) on a lower substrate(10) through a first photo lithography process; forming a transparent counter electrode(13) on an upper part of the lower substrate through a second photo lithography process; depositing an insulator layer(14) on the upper part of the lower substrate; forming a source and a drain electrode(15a,15b) on both sides of the optical intercepting pattern through a third photo lithography process, and forming a data bus line to be connected to the source electrode on an upper part of the insulator layer; forming a pixel electrode(16) as a transparent material on the upper part of the insulator layer through a fourth photo lithography process; forming a channel layer(17) on both sides of the source/the drain electrodes in a same shape with the optical intercepting pattern; and forming a gate bus line(19) including a gate insulator layer(18) on an upper part of the channel layer, through a fifth photo lithography process to include the channel layer.
