摘要 |
PURPOSE: A low power consumption boosting circuit in broad range supply voltage is provided to consume an optimum power by having a capacitance adaptive to a level of a power supply voltage. CONSTITUTION: A clock generating circuit(10) generates a first clock signal(CLK1) and provides the generated first clock signal(CLK1) to a charge pumping circuit(20). The charge pumping circuit(20) responds to an inputted control signal(EN) and has a variable capacitance. The charge pumping circuit(20) generates the control signal(EN) for varying a capacitance based on a change of a power supply voltage(Vcc). The charge pumping circuit(20) has first and second charge pumps(22,25) and an NAND logic gate(23). A first clock buffer(21) receives the first clock signal(CLK1) from the clock generating circuit(10) and changes the received first clock signal(CLK1) to a signal with a predetermined level.
