PURPOSE: An upright urinal is provided to let a female conveniently urinate in an upright stance the same as a male and to prevent leakage of urine. CONSTITUTION: An upright urinal includes: a body(2) having a discharge path(1) in the center; a trumpet-shaped urethra insert(4) formed in the upper end of the body while having a urethra insert groove(3) at its outer circumference; a pressurizing part(5) extending from the urethra insert; a pressurizing grip(7) formed below the pressurizing part while having a space(6); upper holes(8) communicated with the space from the urethra insert; a lower holes(9) communicated with the discharge path from the lower portion of the space. While the urethra insert is inserted into the urethra, urine is discharged through the discharge path. If urine leakage out of the urethra insert, the urine is guided into the discharge path through the upper and lower holes and the space. Therefore, a female urinates without leakage.
