PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a sintered soft magnetic Fe-Si alloy is provided, which can be used in the high frequency range due to satisfactory crushability and formability, particularly high sintering density and superior soft magnetic properties at a low temperature by blending, forming and sintering the powder material after smelting a matrix in which one or more alloy elements are appropriately added to an Fe-Si ally, and sequentially rapidly cooling the smelted matrix, thereby manufacturing powder. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a sintered soft magnetic Fe-Si alloy comprises the steps of manufacturing rapidly cooled powder by cooling the fused material in the rotational speed range of 8 to 35 m/sec after fusing a matrix with a plasma arc in the inert environment, wherein the matrix comprises a compound composition of Fe-(3-6.5)%Si+Mx where M is one or more elements selected from the group consisting of B, Sn, Cr, V, P, C, Al and Zn, and x comprises 0.1 to 2 wt.% of the compound composition; classifying the pulverized powder into a particle size range of 38 to 150 microns by pulverizing the rapidly cooled powder; forming the mixture to a pressure ranging from 1 to 10 ton/cm2 after adding a binder of 0.5 to 3 wt.% for the total Fe-Si alloy powder to the powder and mixing the binder added powder; and sintering the green compact in a temperature range of 1100 to 1350 deg.C for 0.5 to 4 hours.
