PURPOSE: An apparatus for transmitting messages between a digital signal processor and a control software is provided to process data in a digital signal processor in real time by embodying in a hardware manner queues for performing a message transmission role between masks. CONSTITUTION: A first address decoder(10) decodes an address and a flag occurring in a control software. A second address decoder(20) decodes an address and a flag occurring in a digital signal processor. A flag register(30) sets a flag each obtained from the first and the second decoders(10, 20). A command register(40) temporarily stores a control command occurring from a control software, transmits the control command to the digital signal processor, and transmits to the control software a command obtained from the digital signal processor. A message storage queue(50) is included.
