METHOD OF CONTROLLING COOKING WITH OVEN INCLUDING PREHEATING FUNCTION OF MICROWAVE OVEN

PURPOSE: A method is provided to improve the oven performance as well as to prevent a cooking material in a microwave oven from being damaged by radiant heat by periodically turning on/off a heater and stopping a fan motor. CONSTITUTION: A microwave oven is operated by the steps of: setting cooking time and temperature according to the cooking function for an oven; periodically turning on/off a heater according to the set time as well as counting the cooking time; comparing and deciding the raised temperature in a microwave oven with the set temperature; normally driving the heater together with a fan motor if the temperature in the microwave oven is higher than the set temperature range; deciding whether the periodic on/off of the heater exceeds the set time if the temperature in the microwave oven is not raised higher than the set range; and normally cooking a material with the oven by driving the fan motor if the preheat of the heater exceeds the set time.
