PURPOSE: An optical view angle LCD is provided to broaden an optical view angle by forming a groove to a color filter and forming a split orientation LCD. CONSTITUTION: Electrodes(11,21) and vertical orientation films(12,22) are successively formed to an inner surface of two insulating substrates(10,20). A liquid crystal layer(100) is inserted into orientation films(12,22). Deflecting plates(13,23) are attached to an external surface of substrates(10,20) for deflecting a light through the liquid crystal layer(100) and a light to be incident to the liquid crystal layer(100). Liquid crystal molecules(110) of the liquid crystal layer(100) are arranged to a surface of two substrates(10,20) by an orientation force of orientation films(12,22) in a vertical direction when a potential difference of two electrodes(11,21) is not occurred. Liquid crystal molecules(110) are rearranged when a potential difference of two electrodes(11,21) is occurred.
