APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING COLLISION OF A HIGH SPEED ETHERNET

PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to prevent a connection delay phenomenon of a network in a media access controller's data re-transmission by transferring a counter value to the media access controller. CONSTITUTION: A media access controller(100) generates transmission data and divides the data by the unit frame. A transmission part(400) is a physical connection part and electrically applies the data to transmission lines by the unit frame. A code generator(300) generates a special code distinguished from an idle period in an inter frame gap between the frames. A receiver(400) is a physical connection part and converts an electric signal received by the unit frame into data. A counter(700) receives the special code and is operated according to the special code.
