PURPOSE: A high efficient air conditioner is provided to improve the efficiency and to reduce noise by removing the flow loss through the change in a shape of an air inlet unit for an outdoor unit. CONSTITUTION: A compressor(51) is driven to circulate a refrigerant and the refrigerant is condensed in a condenser(52) if an air conditioner is worked. Therefore, the efficiency of the condenser is improved by exhausting the heated air in the condenser outside a cabinet(50) through the continuous feed of new air to the condenser. Also, a shroud(55) induces the air flow so the air introduced through an air inlet unit(50') as to be flowed in the cabinet without resistance. Therefore, the flow energy is not lost in the cabinet and the air is smoothly flowed to improve the efficiency.
