DRIED SYRUP OF ACYCLOVIR

PURPOSE: Dried syrup of acyclovir is provided which is characterized by stability in heat and light, easiness of taking, convenience for control of dosage, improvement of bio availability, and drug effect on herpes virus. CONSTITUTION: Dried syrup of acyclovir comprises 10-30wt.% of acyclovir, 0.3-2.5wt.% of non-crystallized cellulose, 0.5-5.5wt.% of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC), 0.1-0.8wt.% of xanthan gum, 2.0-22.0wt.% of D-mannitol, and 60.0-85.0wt.% of sucrose.
