INPUT CIRCUIT FOR SYNCHRONIZING SIGNAL IN MONITOR

PURPOSE: An input circuit for a synchronizing signal is to convert an inputted unsuitable synchronizing signal into a proper signal and apply the converted signal to a controller. CONSTITUTION: An input circuit for a synchronizing signal comprises a B¬+ voltage adjusting circuit(29) connected a synchronizing input(21). The B¬+ voltage adjusting circuit can adjust the magnitude of B¬+ voltage applied to the synchronizing input. The B¬+ voltage adjusting circuit is a circuit consisting of a variable resistor(VR1) connected B¬+ voltage of (+)5V and an input of the B¬+ voltage. A resistance of the variable resistor is changed by the operation of control keys provided on a monitor, thereby controlling the B¬+ voltage applied to the synchronizing input. A Schmitt trigger circuit is adopted as the synchronizing input.
